Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), victims of identity theft, or law enforcement agencies on their behalf, may be entitled to certain records relating to fraudulent transactions that may have occurred at Blink.
Victims of identity theft
If you have not yet done so, we encourage you to report suspicious activity (including unauthorised activity in your Blink account), by visiting Report Suspicious Activity. To report suspicious emails, phone calls, or text messages, please visit Report a Scam.
If you are a victim of identity theft, you may request, at no charge, copies of records relating to fraudulent transactions that may have occurred at Blink.
You can make a request using the following methods:
- If you have a Blink account, you can find your Billing History for subscriptions purchased directly through Blink.
- To access additional information relating to your Blink account, you can request a copy of your personal information held by Blink through the Blink app. On the Blink app, go to Settings > Account and Privacy > Manage Your Data > Download Personal Data > Submit Request > Confirm Request. You'll need to sign into the account for which you're submitting your request. For more information, please go to How can I access other data held by Blink.
- If you don't have a Blink account, can't access your Blink account, or need more records, you can make a request by following the instructions on the How to Obtain Amazon Transaction Records After Identity Theft page in Amazon's help centre. If you are a victim of identity theft, Blink works with Amazon to process your records requests. If you're sending your request via email or post, be sure to specify that you're seeking records relating to Blink, and include the supporting information listed in the instructions to ensure prompt handling of your request.
Law enforcement only
If you are a member of law enforcement investigating identity theft on behalf of a victim, please submit your request through Amazon's Law Enforcement Request Tracker or by post to the address listed on Amazon's How to Obtain Amazon Transaction Records After Identity Theft page. Blink utilises Amazon's process for handling FCRA § 609(e) identity theft records requests. For more information, please review Amazon's Law Enforcement Guidelines.
