Linking your Blink and Alexa accounts

When you connect your Blink account to Alexa, you have access to smart home features through your Alexa devices like answering your Video Doorbell, hearing motion notifications, and streaming live view from your Blink cameras. 

Before you begin, ensure that you have:

Note: Blink Indoor (1st Gen) cameras are not compatible with Alexa devices. 

  1. Open the Blink app and tap Settings.
  2. Tap Account and Privacy.
  3. Tap Alexa.
  4. Tap Link Alexa.
  5. Tap Agree & Continue. You'll return to the Account and Privacy screen where Alexa will now show Linked.
  6. If "Unable to link with Alexa" displays, tap OK and try again.

To unlink your Blink and Alexa accounts:

  1. Open the Blink app and tap Settings. 
  2. Tap Account and Privacy.
  3. Tap Alexa.
  4. Tap Unlink Alexa.
  5. Tap Yes, I'm Sure and a success message displays. 
  6. If "Unable to unlink from Alexa" displays, tap OK and try again.
