- 1 Mounting Kit (screws included)
- 4 Screws (3x21mm) and Anchors
- 4 Cable clips

Mini 2 Installation
Mini 2 camera ships with a camera mount, along with two screws and an indoor power adapter in the box. Be sure to remove its protective covering prior to using the camera.
Note: Make sure the cable reaches to your Mini 2 camera without being stretched and refer to the following installation instructions.
Depending on the orientation of where the camera will be located, you will use one of the two mounting points:
- The vertical mounting point (for walls or other vertical surfaces) is located below the USB port at the rear of the camera.
- The horizontal mounting point (for flat surfaces and ceilings) is located at the bottom of the unit.
Mounting Blink Mini 2 Camera
- Select a location to mount your camera. When you've decided where it will go, remove the top cover from the mount and use the included screws to secure the mount to your surface. Then reattach the top cover by rotating it to align with the keyed slot and notches on the mount, until it can be securely connected down into place without resistance.
Proper camera placement is important for good image quality. Mini 2 cameras have been used to detect motion through glass. Remember, this is not the most accurate way to detect motion. When using your Mini 2 through glass, be sure to turn off the Recording LED and the Night Vision IR LED to prevent glare from reflected light. Learn about camera placement.
- After the mount is secured, press your Mini 2 onto the mounting point. It will click into place as the camera is secured.
- Plug the included indoor, or Blink Weather Resistant Power Adapter (sold separately) cable into the USB port in the back of Mini 2 and aim the camera.
- If using the included indoor power cable, plug the other end into the power supply and then plug the power supply into your wall outlet.
When using the Blink Weather Resistant Power Adapter (sold separately), you can use the included mounting kit which comes with screws, anchors and cable clips to attach it to a wall. Then plug the other end directly into an outlet.
You can test the camera's orientation by using Live View in the Blink app.
Optional: Flipping video
If you want to mount Mini 2 onto a ceiling or an overhead surface, you may need to flip the camera's video so it outputs properly.
You can make this change in the Blink app by tapping Moreat the bottom right of the device's thumbnail image. Then select Device Settings > Video and Photo and tap Flip Video to turn on this setting.
Visit the camera settings page for more information about settings.

Outdoor 4 Installation
- Make sure the cable reaches to your Outdoor 4 camera without being stretched.
- Remove the USB cover from the bottom, on the back cover. Also make certain to save it, in case you ever decide to use your Outdoor 4 without the Weather-Resistant Power Cable attached.
Note: The USB port must always be covered in order for your camera to be weather-resistant. Firmly plug the USB-C cable into your Outdoor 4 Camera's left side, with the cable connected at the bottom. This ensures you have a tight seal on all sides so your camera is weather-resistant.
With the cable attached to the camera, plug the power adapter at the other end into your electrical outlet.
You can then proceed with mounting your Outdoor 4.
Note: You have the option of using the right angle adapter with your Outdoor 4, for increased flexibility when the weather-resistant cable is attached. This adapter snaps into the opening on the back of the camera, as shown in the diagram below.
Then press the adapter onto the connecting point of the mount. The adapter will snap into place indicating a secure attachment.- Check the camera function by taking a thumbnail image or opening a Live View session to be sure you have the camera view you need.
Note: When using the Weather Resistant Power Adapter with your Outdoor 4 camera, it's recommended to have working batteries installed. In the event there’s an issue with your camera receiving power, the camera will use the installed batteries to function.

Mounting your Weather Resistant Power Adapter
The Weather Resistant Power Adapter can be mounted to a flat surface using the 4 included screws and anchors as shown below. Make certain to secure the Weather Resistant Power Adapter prior to plugging it into your camera, so it doesn't hang freely from the camera.
Once your Weather Resistant Power Adapter is mounted, you can also secure the cable using the 4 included clips.

Technical Specs
- IP-55 rated Weather-Resistant
- Mini USB male, to electrical mains adapter
- 5 Volt 1 Amp current at the micro USB plug

Outdoor 3 Installation
- Make sure the cable reaches to your camera without being stretched.
- Remove the back cover of your camera. Learn more about removing your back cover.
- The port protector is attached on the inside of the camera case by a strap. Push the silicone port protector into the opening of the camera's back cover, then pull the silicone port protector to remove.
- Ensure the adapter plug and camera case opening are free of debris, dirt, oil or liquid of any kind, and then insert the micro USB end of the plug into the camera. You may feel slight resistance as the silicone is fitting the camera case, however the plug should seat without difficulty. If you feel the need to force the plug to fit, it may not be seating correctly. Please double check if the plug is held with the correct side up.
Notice in the Side View image of the plug, how the plug shape follows the curve of the camera back. You will still see a small gap (about the width of a fingernail) when the plug is inserted fully, this is part of the plug design.
- Once the plug is securely in place, check the fit of your mounting location before connecting the camera to the mount. If the fit is too tight, the USB plug may be pulled from the camera accidentally.
- With the cable attached to the camera, plug the power adapter at the other end into your electrical outlet.
- Check the camera function by taking a thumbnail image or opening a Live View session to be sure you have the camera view you need.
- The USB plug is compatible with Blink accessories. For instance, an opening is molded into the Camera Stand as shown.
