When you connect your Outdoor 4 camera to a Sync Module XR, you can choose from three network coverage types: Wi-Fi, Extended Range (XR), and Extended Range Plus (XR+). XR+ allows your cameras to operate at distances up to 400 feet*.
Extended Range is available exclusively for Outdoor 4 cameras, with a limit of two cameras using Extended Range at the same time per Sync Module XR. If using Extended Range on two cameras, both must be of the same type (XR or XR+). Up to two Sync Module XRs can use Extended Range per account, allowing for a total of four Outdoor 4 cameras using Extended Range. Once this limit is reached, Extended Range cannot be selected for additional Sync Modules or cameras.
*Distance is for Extended Range Plus (XR+), with Extended Range (XR) providing coverage up to 250 feet. Actual coverage may vary. Performance may vary due to application, building materials, environment, interference, or accessories. Distances are measured through one exterior wall. Provided distances are for guidance only.
