Follow these easy steps to learn how to purchase a Blink Subscription Plan.

  1. Link your Amazon and Blink accounts.
    • Download and sign into the Blink app. 
    • Tap Settings and Account and Privacy. 
    • Next tap Link to Amazon Account and sign in with your Amazon credentials. Learn more about linking your accounts.
  1. Select a subscription plan.
  1. Attach your Blink Subscription Basic Plan to your devices.
    • Choose the device you’d like to attach to your subscription (only applies to Basic Plans since Plus Plans cover all eligible devices on a Blink account).
  1. Place your order to activate your subscription.
    • Your device or account is now covered with a Blink Subscription Plan.

Important: Subscriptions in UK and Ireland cannot be purchased on the Amazon marketplace app. If you're using a mobile device, you must use a browser such as Safari or Chrome when purchasing a subscription.

I'm having trouble activating a purchased subscription. What can I do?

  • Make sure you've linked your Amazon and Blink accounts. Use these steps to link them:
    1. Tap Account and Privacy, then tap Amazon Account Linking.
    2. Tap Agree and Continue, and sign in using your Amazon credentials.
    3. Once you sign in, a linking confirmation message displays. 
    4. Tap Done to return to the Account and Privacy screen, where your Amazon account displays as linked.

30-day Plus Plan Trial

What is a Plus Plan Trial?

The Blink Subscription Plus Plan Trial is a no-cost 30-day trial* that gives you access to Plus Plan features across all your eligible Blink devices. When you purchase a new Blink device, your Plus Plan Trial starts automatically when you set up your new eligible Blink device.

During your trial:
  • A banner in the app shows how many days are left in your trial.
  • You’ll receive email reminders as your trial ends.
  • All eligible Blink devices on your account are covered by the Plus Plan.
  • Adding a new eligible Blink device extends your trial by 30 days.

Will I lose access to my videos if I cancel my Plus Plan or my no-cost trial expires?

No, your existing videos stay available in the Blink app, where you can view, download, and share them. However, saved clips will be deleted based on your settings in the Blink app (up to 30 days EU) and cannot be restored.

  • It does not automatically enroll you in a subscription. To continue using subscription features, you must purchase a Blink Subscription Plan.
Blink XT, XT2, and legacy Indoor cameras are eligible for the Blink Subscription Plus Plan; however, they do not require a subscription to save videos when the no-cost trial ends. When these cameras are not covered by a subscription plan, they use their 7200 seconds per Sync Module of cloud storage and do not have access to subscription features. How do I redeem my 10% discount?

Your 10% discount will be applied after your Plus Plan Trial ends and your paid Plus Plan subscription begins. Terms and conditions apply.

Your discount is automatically applied at time of checkout on Amazon.co.uk and only applies to Blink hardware. Only customers with a paid and active Blink Plus Plan are eligible to receive the discount. Customers on the 30-day no-cost trial are not eligible to receive the discount.   6. Select the Blink device you'd like to attach to your subscription, then click Continue.
    • For a basic and basic ai: Choose a specific camera to attach (only one camera supported). If you only have one camera on your account, it'll be attached automatically.
    • For plus and plus ai: All eligible devices on your Blink account are automatically covered.
  7. Choose your renewal period and add a payment method, then select Purchase Subscription.

Subscriptions and legacy cameras

If you purchase a basic, basic ai, plus, or plus ai plan through Blink.com, XT, XT2 and Indoor (1st Gen) cameras can be added to either plan. If you purchase a subscription through Amazon, these cameras can only be added to a Plus Plan.

If you currently have a Blink subscription through Apple, you'll need to cancel your existing subscription and wait for it to expire before you can purchase a new AI plan. You cannot purchase an AI plan while an active Apple subscription is in place.

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Tap your name.
  3. Tap Subscriptions.
  4. Find your Blink subscription and tap Cancel Subscription. You might need to scroll down to find the Cancel Subscription button. If there is no Cancel button or you see an expiration message in red text, the subscription is already canceled.

Your current subscription will remain active until the end of your billing period. Once your Apple subscription expires, you can purchase the new AI plan. Learn more about canceling a subscription from Apple.

What happens when my no-cost trial ends?

When the trial ends:

  • You’ll lose access to subscription-only features like Extended Live View, Person Detection, and Blink Moments.
  • All cloud recording stops.
  • Saved clips stay available in the Blink app, where you can view, download, and share them.
  • Saved clips will be deleted based on your settings in the Blink app (up to 30 days EU) and cannot be restored.
  • It does not automatically enroll you in a subscription. To continue using subscription features, you must purchase a Blink Subscription Plan.
Blink XT, XT2, and legacy Indoor cameras are eligible for the Blink Subscription Plus Plan; however, they do not require a subscription to save videos when the no-cost trial ends. When these cameras are not covered by a subscription plan, they use their 7200 seconds per Sync Module of cloud storage and do not have access to subscription features. Follow these easy steps to learn how to purchase a Blink Subscription Plan.

  1. Link your Amazon and Blink accounts.
    • Download and sign into the Blink app. 
    • Tap Settings and Account and Privacy. 
    • Next tap Link to Amazon Account and sign in with your Amazon credentials. Learn more about linking your accounts.
  1. Select a subscription plan.
  1. Attach your Blink Subscription Basic Plan to your devices.
    • Choose the device you’d like to attach to your subscription (only applies to Basic Plans since Plus Plans cover all eligible devices on a Blink account).
  1. Place your order to activate your subscription.
    • Your device or account is now covered with a Blink Subscription Plan.

Important: Subscriptions in Mexico cannot be purchased on the Amazon marketplace app. If you're using a mobile device, you must use a browser such as Safari or Chrome when purchasing a subscription.

I'm having trouble activating a purchased subscription. What can I do?

  • Make sure you've linked your Amazon and Blink accounts. Use these steps to link them:
    1. Tap Account and Privacy, then tap Amazon Account Linking.
    2. Tap Agree and Continue, and sign in using your Amazon credentials.
    3. Once you sign in, a linking confirmation message displays. 
    4. Tap Done to return to the Account and Privacy screen, where your Amazon account displays as linked.

  • Find your Plus Plan account details such as the renewal date and plan status (active or canceled). 
  • Update your Plus Plan payment method or cancel your subscription. 

From the Blink app, you can:

  • Find your Basic Plan account details such as the renewal date and plan status (active, canceled, or expired). 
  • Attach a Basic Plan to an eligible device, or move it to another eligible device. To learn more, visit managing your Basic Plan in the Blink app.

Accounts created on or before April 15th, 2020, benefit from 7200s (2 hours) of free cloud storage. 30-day Plus Plan Trial

What is a Plus Plan Trial?

The Blink Subscription Plus Plan Trial is a no-cost 30-day trial* that gives you access to Plus Plan features across all your eligible Blink devices. When you purchase a new Blink device, your Plus Plan Trial starts automatically when you set up your new eligible Blink device.

During your trial:
  • A banner in the app shows how many days are left in your trial.
  • You’ll receive email reminders as your trial ends.
  • All eligible Blink devices on your account are covered by the Plus Plan.
  • Adding a new eligible Blink device extends your trial by 30 days.
