Blink Subscription Plans enable exciting features including unlimited cloud video recording, 60-day unlimited cloud storage, live view recording, Extended Live View (available on Blink Wired Floodlight and Mini cameras), Photo Capture(available on Mini 2, Outdoor 4, Video Doorbell and Blink Indoor and Outdoor 3rd Gen cameras), Person Detection (available on Mini 2, Outdoor 4 and Wired Floodlight camera) and Moments. Purchasing Plans

How can I purchase a Blink Subscription Plan?

  US customers now have the option and convenience of purchasing Blink Subscription Plus Plans using their Apple iOS devices. Learn more about Blink Subscription In-App Purchasing. Please note that pricing through third-party billing partners may vary.

Follow these easy steps to learn how to purchase a Blink Subscription Plan.

  1. Link your Amazon and Blink accounts.
    • Download and sign into the Blink app. 
    • Tap on Settings and Account and Privacy
    • Next tap Link to Amazon Account and sign in with your Amazon credentials. Learn more about linking your accounts.
  2. Purchase a subscription plan.
  3. Attach your Blink Subscription Plan to your devices.
    • Choose the device you’d like to attach to your subscription (only applies to Basic Plans since Plus Plans cover all eligible devices on a Blink account).
  4. Place your order to activate your subscription
    • Your device or account is now covered with a Blink Subscription Plan!

Note: Subscriptions in the US cannot be purchased on the Amazon marketplace app. If you're using a mobile device, you must use a browser such as Safari or Chrome when purchasing a subscription.

How do I activate purchased Blink Subscription Plans?

You can activate Blink Subscription Plans you've already purchased with the following steps:

  1. Link your Blink and Amazon accounts in the Blink app. Note: If you purchased a Plus plan, it will automatically attach to all your Blink devices when you link your accounts.
  2. If you purchased Basic plans, you can attach them in the Blink app by tapping Settings at the bottom right of the screen and select Blink Plans.
  3. Next, tap on Manage Blink Plans to view all your available plans and devices for attachment.
  4. You can also visit Your Memberships & Subscriptions to activate your plans.

When will I be billed for my Blink Subscription Plan?

After the 30-day free trial, you will be billed based on the subscription plan and date when you purchased. Learn more about Blink Subscription Plans.

What if I don’t want to pay for/renew a subscription?

To cancel your subscription at any time, go to your Amazon account and select Your Memberships & Subscriptions. Learn more about yearly auto-renewals for digital Amazon subscriptions.

Am I going to be auto enrolled or will I be notified first? My credit card information is on file with Amazon.

Customers are not auto enrolled and can purchase subscriptions on Amazon.com.

Trials

What happens when my free trial subscription ends?

We hope you have enjoyed your free trial3 of the Blink Subscription Plus Plan!

The free trial does not automatically enroll you into a subscription plan. Once your free trial ends, no new recordings will be saved to the cloud and your existing cloud recordings will be deleted based on your settings in the Blink app. In addition, you will no longer have access to subscription features.

If your account was created on or before April 15th, 2020, you will continue to have access to 7200s (2 hours) of free cloud storage per Sync Module for all devices when your trial ends.

Blink XT, XT2, and legacy Indoor cameras are eligible for the Blink Subscription Plus Plan; however, they do not require a subscription to save videos when the free trial ends. When these cameras are not covered by a subscription plan, they use their 7200 seconds per Sync Module of cloud storage and do not have access to subscription features such as Extended Live View and Person Detection. Am I eligible for a Blink Subscription Plan?

US customers who own Blink devices can choose to purchase a Blink Subscription Plan. A 30-day free trial3 of the Blink Subscription Plus Plan starts immediately when your new eligible Blink device is set up. An Amazon.com account is required to purchase and activate Blink Subscription Plans.

Can I try a Blink Subscription Plan before I subscribe?

Yes. A 30-day free trial of the Blink Subscription Plus Plan begins when you set up your new Blink Outdoor 4, Wired Floodlight, Video Doorbell, Mini, Mini 2, Indoor and Outdoor (3rd Gen) camera. Learn more about Blink Subscription Plans.

How can I see the remaining days that are in my free trial period?

When you are within your 30-day free trial period, you will see a banner on the home screen of your app that shows the remaining days of your free trial period. Additionally, you will receive an email regarding the remaining days of your free trial, with links to assist you with purchasing a subscription plan. You also have the option to cancel your free trial within the Blink app Account screen.

How do I subscribe and manage my subscription?

When you purchase a subscription on Amazon, anytime during your 30-day free trial, link your Amazon and Blink accounts and then attach your Blink Subscription Plan to a device or account. Once you have purchased, you can manage your subscription through your Amazon account under Your Memberships & Subscriptions.

US customers also have the option of purchasing Blink Subscription Plus Plans directly on Apple iOS devices. Learn more about Blink Subscription In-App Purchasing.

Managing Subscriptions and Devices

What devices are eligible for a Blink Subscription Plan?

Blink devices including the Blink Outdoor 4, Wired Floodlight Camera, Video Doorbell, Mini, Mini 2, Indoor and Outdoor (3rd Gen) cameras are eligible for both the Basic and Plus Plan.

Blink XT, XT2, and legacy Indoor cameras are eligible for the Blink Subscription Plus Plan featuring 60-day unlimited cloud storage.

The Blink Subscription Plus Plan will cover all Blink cameras on your account, including any Blink XT, XT2, and legacy Indoor cameras. Blink Subscription Basic plans only cover a single eligible device.

What happens when I add a new Blink device?

With the Blink Subscription Plus Plan, all Blink devices on the account are covered automatically. If you’re currently subscribed to a Blink Subscription Basic Plan and want your new device covered, you can add another Basic plan for your new device, or upgrade to the Plus Plan to cover all your devices.

Is a Blink Subscription Plan required to use my Blink products?

No. Your Blink products provide their standard features (such as motion alerts, live view, and two-way audio) without any subscription. Blink Subscription Plans offer additional features for those who want them.

If your account was created on or before April 15th, 2020, you will continue to have access to 7200s (2 hours) of free cloud storage and other features for any and all future devices set up in your account. You can choose to upgrade to unlimited video recording by purchasing a Blink Subscription Plan at any time. Learn more about purchasing Blink Subscription Plans.

Will I lose access to my videos if I cancel my plan or my free trial expires?

Your existing videos will remain available for viewing, downloading, and sharing in the Blink app until they are deleted based on the auto-delete setting subject to the 60 day video storage limit. Learn more about Blink Subscription Plans.

What happens if I cancel my Blink Subscription Plan when my account is created before April 15, 2020?

Accounts created on or before April 15th, 2020 benefit from 7200s (2 hours) of free cloud storage. If you chose to subscribe a Blink Subscription Plan and later decided to cancel it, you will lose access to unlimited video recording for the devices covered by the plan(s), Extended Live View for your Blink Wired Floodlight and Mini cameras, and your devices will revert back to 7200s (2 hours) of free cloud storage.

Extended Warranty and 10% Discount

What are the terms to the extended warranty?

For extended warranty coverage, "Eligible Blink Devices" are Blink devices covered by an active Plus Plan, if the Blink device was under the 1-year manufacturer’s warranty period at the time you added the device to your Plus Plan. Non-Blink and other third-party devices are not eligible for the extended warranty. In the U.S., in lieu of the Blink extended warranty, Eligible Blink Devices are covered via a service contract administered by SquareTrade, an Allstate company; SquareTrade/Allstate terms are available here. The cost for the Allstate Protection Plan is included in the cost of the Blink Plus Plan.

Yes, if you have a Blink Subscription Plus Plan, otherwise they have a 1 year warranty in the US/CA and 2 year in the EU/UK.

I am a Blink Subscription Plus Plan subscriber, how do I redeem my 10% discount?

Your discount becomes available once your free trial ends and your Blink Subscription Plus Plan subscription becomes active. Log in to Amazon.com using the account you used to subscribe to the Blink Subscription Plus Plan. Once you have added Blink products to your cart, the discount will be automatically calculated and added during checkout.

What are the terms to the 10% discount?
Applies to customers with an active Blink Subscription Plus Plan at the time of purchase of new Blink product.

  • Applied at time of checkout.

What devices are eligible for a Blink Subscription Plan?

Blink devices including the Blink Outdoor 4, Wired Floodlight Camera, Video Doorbell, Mini, Mini 2, Indoor and Outdoor (3rd Gen) cameras are eligible for both the Basic and Plus Plan.

Blink XT, XT2, and legacy Indoor cameras are eligible for the Blink Subscription Plus Plan featuring 60-day unlimited cloud storage.

The Blink Subscription Plus Plan will cover all Blink cameras on your account, including any Blink XT, XT2, and legacy Indoor cameras. Blink Subscription Basic plans only cover a single eligible device.

What happens when I add a new Blink device?

With the Blink Subscription Plus Plan, all Blink devices on the account are covered automatically. If you’re currently subscribed to a Blink Subscription Basic Plan and want your new device covered, you can add another Basic plan for your new device, or upgrade to the Plus Plan to cover all your devices.

Is a Blink Subscription Plan required to use my Blink products?

No. Your Blink products provide their standard features (such as motion alerts, live view, and two-way audio) without any subscription. Blink Subscription Plans offer additional features for those who want them.

If your account was created on or before April 15th, 2020, you will continue to have access to 7200s (2 hours) of free cloud storage and other features for any and all future devices set up in your account. You can choose to upgrade to unlimited video recording by purchasing a Blink Subscription Plan at any time. Learn more about purchasing Blink Subscription Plans.

Will I lose access to my videos if I cancel my plan or my free trial expires?

Your existing videos will remain available for viewing, downloading, and sharing in the Blink app until they are deleted based on the auto-delete setting subject to the 60 day video storage limit. Learn more about Blink Subscription Plans.

What happens if I cancel my Blink Subscription Plan when my account is created before April 15, 2020?

Accounts created on or before April 15th, 2020 benefit from 7200s (2 hours) of free cloud storage. If you chose to subscribe a Blink Subscription Plan and later decided to cancel it, you will lose access to unlimited video recording for the devices covered by the plan(s), Extended Live View for your Blink Wired Floodlight and Mini cameras, and your devices will revert back to 7200s (2 hours) of free cloud storage.

  3. Attach your Blink Subscription Plan to your devices.
    • Choose the device you’d like to attach to your subscription (only applies to Basic Plans since Plus Plans cover all eligible devices on a Blink account).
  4. Place your order to activate your subscription
    • Your device or account is now covered with a Blink Subscription Plan!

How do I activate purchased Blink Subscription Plans?

You can activate Blink Subscription Plans you've already purchased with the following steps:

  1. Link your Blink and Amazon accounts in the Blink app. Note: If you purchased a Plus plan, it will automatically attach to all your Blink devices when you link your accounts.
  2. If you purchased Basic plans, you can attach them in the Blink app by tapping Settings at the bottom right of the screen and select Blink Plans.
  3. Next, tap on Manage Blink Plans to view all your available plans and devices for attachment.
  4. You can also visit Your Memberships & Subscriptions to activate your plans.

What happens when my free trial subscription ends?

We hope you have enjoyed your free trial3 of the Blink Subscription Plus Plan!

The free trial does not automatically enroll you into a subscription plan. Once your free trial ends, no new recordings will be saved to the cloud and your existing cloud recordings will be deleted based on your settings in the Blink app. In addition, you will no longer have access to subscription features.

If your account was created on or before April 15th, 2020, you will continue to have access to 7200s (2 hours) of free cloud storage per Sync Module for all devices when your trial ends.

Blink XT, XT2, and legacy Indoor cameras are eligible for the Blink Subscription Plus Plan; however, they do not require a subscription to save videos when the free trial ends. When these cameras are not covered by a subscription plan, they use their 7200 seconds per Sync Module of cloud storage and do not have access to subscription features such as Extended Live View and Person Detection.
